Convertly FX (“the app”) is designed to respect your privacy. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with information.
Summary
Convertly FX does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There is no account to create and no sign-up. The app does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking of any kind.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers, or any other personal information. We have no servers that receive your data, and we cannot identify you.
Exchange rate requests
To show live exchange rates, the app sends a request to a third-party public exchange-rate service, open.er-api.com. This request contains only a three-letter currency code (for example, “USD” or “EUR”). It does not include your name, your device identifier, your location, the amount you are converting, or any other personal information. Your use of that service is subject to its own terms; we do not share any personal data with it because none is sent.
Information stored on your device
The app saves the following on your device only, so it works smoothly and offline:
- Your most recently used currencies
- Your theme preference (dark or light)
- The most recent exchange rates it downloaded (so conversions still work without a connection)
This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, this information is removed.
Advertising, analytics, and tracking
Convertly FX contains no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking technologies. We do not build a profile of you and we do not follow you across apps or websites.
Selling or sharing data
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information, because we do not collect any.
Children’s privacy
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this address.
