Mute: Life Clock & Focus (“the app”) is designed to be local-only and private. This policy explains, in plain terms, what the app does and does not do with information.

Summary

Mute: Life Clock & Focus does not collect, store, or share any personal information with the developer. There is no account to create and no sign-up. The app has no server, and it does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking of any kind.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers, app choices, focus activity, or any other personal information. We have no servers that receive your data, and we cannot identify you.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following on your device only, using AsyncStorage:

  • Your date of birth, used to show your life clock
  • Your mute and focus ledger
  • Your Apple Screen Time app-selection token

This information stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, this information is removed from your device.

Screen Time and Family Controls

Mute: Life Clock & Focus uses Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks, including FamilyControls and ManagedSettings, with individual authorization. This lets you shield or silence the apps you choose on your own device.

The app never learns which apps you selected. Apple provides the app with an opaque token for your selection, and that token never leaves your device. The developer cannot see your selected apps, your Screen Time data, or your focus activity.

Daily album links

The app can open YouTube Music for the daily album feature. This opens an external app or search controlled by YouTube Music. No data is sent to the developer when you use this feature.

Advertising, analytics, and tracking

Mute: Life Clock & Focus contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, and no tracking technologies. We do not build a profile of you and we do not follow you across apps or websites.

Selling or sharing data

We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information, because we do not collect any.

Children’s privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this address.
