Marcus: Stoic AI Mentor

Support

Marcus is a Stoic teacher that lives entirely on your iPhone. Ask anything in your own words and Marcus answers as a teacher of Stoic virtue. There is no account and no setup. Open it whenever you want to think something through.

How do I talk to Marcus?

Open the Teacher tab, type a question or a worry in your own words, and tap Send. You can also tap a suggested prompt like “Help me respond calmly” or “Untangle a worry” to begin.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The conversation runs on your device using Apple’s on-device intelligence, so it works in airplane mode and with no signal. Nothing you write leaves your iPhone.

Why do I need a recent iPhone?

The teacher uses Apple’s on-device model, which requires an iPhone with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer) running a recent version of iOS. On older devices the conversation feature is not available.

What is the medallion?

The Medal tab holds a memento mori medallion, a quiet reminder that your time is finite. Tap Flip to turn it and sit with the thought.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no login. Just open the app and start.

Is it really free?

Yes, completely free, with no ads and no purchases.

Where is my data stored?

Everything runs on your device. The app has no server and collects nothing about you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
